$6.00

Macadamia Oil is high in mono-unsaturated fatty acids and palmitoleic acid (promotes soft skin) as well as Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids. It is a highly nourishing oil for mature and ageing skin.

Slightly thicker than most carrier oils, this non pore-clogging and non-irritating oil is well known for its components that combine with skin lipids to condition and nourish, leaving skin smooth and soft and providing a protective barrier against moisture loss. An excellent oil to add to your daily personal skincare regime as it has been known to provide positive results within a short period of time. The oil often takes time to absorb into the skin due to its 'weight' and therefore is most suitable for application at bed time to allow it to be absorbed into the skin overnight.

Macadamia Oil is a great option for massage and, in particular, pre-natal massage to help minimise the formation of stretch marks.Minor skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema have also been known to respond well to this oil.

Our Pure Macadamia Oil has been refined via filtration process to remove the nutty odour and make it suitable for cosmetic use, and to meet international cosmetic industry standards.

Shea butter is so good for the skin because of its high content of palmitic, stearic, oleic and arachidic non saponifiable fatty acids.

Recent years have seen increased use of Shea butter in many products including skincare and beauty creams, lotions, soaps, shampoos, hair conditioners, massage oils, and lip balms.

Unrefined Raw Shea Butter is extracted from the Shea nut and left completely unrefined. Because of the lack of refinement, unrefined Shea Butter has a pale yellowish colour and has the typical odour normally associated with Shea Butter.

Safflower Oil Refined

Safflower Oil is a light and easy penetrating oil that is quickly absorbed and is suitable for all skin types. It is highly rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants; particularly Linoleic acid, which is an Omega-6 essential fatty acid that cannot be produced naturally by the body.

Its anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties make Safflower Oil very helpful in reducing the dry and itchy symptoms of eczema and psoriasis, as well as other skin complaints such as acne. Highly hydrating, it is also excellent for use as a moisturiser, helping to soften dry skin, promote elasticity, reduce wrinkles and fine lines, and improve the overall tone and texture of your skin by locking in moisture.

In addition to the wealth of skincare benefits Safflower Oil boasts, it is also excellent for hair care too. Being a quickly absorbing oil, it penetrates deep into the hair follicles, helping to hydrate and nourish your hair from the root. It is also known to help protect and prevent hair from future damage.

Safflower Oil is very popular oil for massage blends, and is commonly used amongst cosmetic manufacturers in a range of products including hair care products, moisturisers, lotions & creams, soaps, and facial & body cleansers. Shea Butter is obtained from the Shea-Karite Tree (or Shea Tree) which is native to West Africa, and has been used in African skin & hair care for generations. It is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F, and is said to offer a mild sun protection factor (approximately SPF 6). It is solid at room temperature but softens when warmed and on contact with skin.

Shea Butter is rich in fats, making it a fantastic moisturiser for dry and ageing skin, and is commonly used for the treatment of various skin conditions such as dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema and blemishes. It is also useful in helping to reduce the appearance of scars, hives, rashes, fine lines and wrinkles, whilst strengthening, protecting and regenerating the skin. Experiments show that it also possesses anti-inflammatory properties.

Shea butter can be used on its own directly on the skin, but is also commonly used in skin care products. As an industry favourite, it is used in a variety of applications ranging from Lip balms, Body masks, Creams, Lotions, Body butters, Hair care products, Liquid and Bar Soaps, Bath oils, Suncare products, Baby products, and the list goes on.

Our Shea Butter has been refined to remove the odour but its properties are still the same. It is not melted down when packaging, it is carved from the block.
